    Angus-Giclee Print

"Angus, I'm really not sure this diet is doing you any good." "I know, it's making me constantly peckish!" I love alpacas and have been very lucky to have hand fed the two in the drawing. There is such a contrast between alpacas and emus. Alpacas are cute and emus have such an attitude! I created this artwork for a Funny Friday series of drawings. I developed a humorous image every week for a month. It wasn't easy. However, it was a really useful exercise as it generated a few new pieces.
  • Bearhug-Giclee Print

    £35.00£45.00
Everyone needs a bearhug sometimes. I love visiting the Yorkshire Wildlife Park to take photographs, you never know what the animals are going to do. Two of the polar bears were play fighting and I managed to capture this moment when they were hugging.

Geoffrey put on his best jumper just in case… I love giraffes. The Geoffrey composition was on of my first pieces after I left my job as a teacher. He came about because I was exploring how to make my work a little different and stand out. A friend popped in for coffee so I showed my just completed picture. She burst out laughing!! Luckily it was in a good way, something in my brain clicked, I wanted to make people happy with my art.

    Nico Polo-Giclee Print

    £35.00£45.00

The original sketch Nico Polo was completed for a Funny Friday series of drawings to go on social media. This artwork was painted as an entry into the Harley Gallery Artist Open Exhibition, displaying work at this gallery was an ambition I had harboured for a while.

Nico was such a personality at Longleat Safari Park and was a great source of photos showing real character. This painting is a tribute to him.

Nigel often thought the Emperor was taking advantage. This composition happened purely because of a photograph taken at Longleat. The giraffe had a whimsical expression on his face and I just had to sit a little Emperor Tamarin monkey on his head.

  • Sumatran Tiger-Giclee Print

    £35.00£45.00
Sumatran Tiger in the Jungle. I love tigers, they are magnificent creatures. I was very lucky to go on a photography day at The Big Cat Sanctuary. Puna was an exemplary subject, although, at one point she was definitely stalking me, and I stepped back from the fence. Being an artist, it is sometimes much more about the subject.
